Practicing Yoga for a Better Sex Life
It’s difficult to argue that yoga is intrinsically connected to sex, because in its original form, yoga was associated with celibacy, or at least ejaculatory control. But yoga has evolved to meet the needs of the West and in doing so has become synonymous with a healthy lifestyle and positive sexuality.

People often get confused between yoga and tantra because they are closely related. Tantric sex brings principles and techniques of yoga into the sexual experience. Learn more about Tantra.

Orthodox yoga involves none of this. No massage, no couple bonding. It is – in its complete form – not unlike a religion, bringing together mysticism, philosophy and practice.

Even without delving into the mystical and philosophical elements of yoga, treating it as a more Western version of time-tested exercise, there are many ways in which yoga contributes to a savvy sex life. It does take practice, though, and patience to deepen the body’s understanding and knowledge. But it’s worth the work, and this is why:
