Taking Earth Day All the Way
Taking Earth Day All the Way
This is the least sectarian of all festivals: it’s a day that all 6.6 billion of us earthlings can be part of. So we need to integrate environmentally-friendly initiatives into every possible aspect of our lives. Even into the most private sanctuaries….

Earth Day is about preserving our planet, our communities, our surroundings and our bodies from the side-effects of human life. Some fighting spirits are taking on corporate pollution, or nuclear waste, but for most people recycling is even too much. So while we still have a few hours left to rally for the good earth, let’s think about where a healthy environment joins hands with healthy sex.

Make Love Not War
A little less aggression against each other and against our planet will leave us all in better shape.

Save Energy by Sharing Body Heat
Insulate your home and your relationship, by keeping the energy inside and circulating it well.

Reuse Everything Possible Except Condoms
Enough said!

Don’t Use Dangerous Products on Your Body
When it comes to health or sex products, stick to the better quality stuff. Cheap plastic sex toys may contain materials that are dangerous to your body, so think about that before you put them anywhere precious. If you aren’t sure how to distinguish between safe and suspect, visit environmentally-friendly stores such as eartherotics.com which carry only healthy materials, like elastomer and silicone.
The same rule goes for medications. Don’t be tempted to buy sexual medications for cheap prices when you can’t know exactly where they were developed.

Recharge Your Batteries
This is especially relevant for those whose sex toys are well used. When you have rechargeable batteries at hand, you will never have to go without (though you may, from time to time, need to take an inconvenient power-refresher break).

Quit or Cut Down on Your Smoking
Smoking pollutes your body, those around you and the environment. It also blocks the arteries and contributes to erectile dysfunction. Heavy smoking is a sexual hazard.

Eat Low on the Food Change
Meat is heavy, both on the body and on the environment. By cutting down on your meat and replacing it with grains, fruit and veggies, the body will feel lighter and healthier. You’ll be better rigged for an active roll in the hay. And there might just be fewer cows pumping out methane gas into the atmosphere and increasing the greenhouse effect.
